The cold snap that hit the country this week didn’t freeze my appetite for winter fashion. Let’s break the ice and warm things up with a very couture puffer, shall we ?
« What’s with the cold today ?! » was the first question I asked myself when my alarm went off on Monday morning.
Wrapping myself up in the blanket like a giant burrito, I hardly climbed out of bed and slowly slid the bedroom curtain to the left side of the window.
Blinded by the bright morning lights, I couldn’t really see what was going on out there but as I was removing my right hand from my sight, I discovered that a lovely white layer had covered up my entire garden.
This little white paradise and deep blue sky reminded me of a sunny day in the Alpes.
While making my first cup of coffee of the day, I thought of the good time I used to have when the ski resorts weren’t closed : waking up in a cabin in Switzerland, having lunch (and genepi) on the trails, enjoying a sunny drink on the terrasse after a last descent...
As my dreams of powder snow vanished into thin (and cold) air, I wondered: "which winter coat could compete with the one my terrace is wearing this morning ?"

a pair of striped socks (actual vintage !)
my lucky Levis jeans and pair of (not so) white sneakers
